Lakeside Drive Snapshot.

From time-to-time I will give you a market snapshot of properties/areas I think either have great potential or are popular among clients. 

The Lakeside neighborhood in located between 7th and 12th street just off Patterson. Lakeside began construction in the 1970's as one of the first planned unit developments in the state of Colorado.  Lakeside consists of about 200 units with the Lakeview Terrace complex of 4 condominium buildings, the Christianna complex of 4 condominium buildings, the Appleridge area consisting of 32 townhomes, and the Lake Lenore area consists of 58 additional living units, a mix of townhomes and single-family homes. 

Within Lakeside are tennis courts, RV storage facilities, a quarter-mile walking path around Lake Lenore, and a  recreational building which houses a heated swimming pool, saunas, jacuzzi and exercise room.  Lakeside is within an easy driving or walking distance of grocery stores, area hospitals and medical facilities, restaurants and shops.

Grand Junction is continuing to see a spike in real estate sales and property values are increasing at a steady and healthy rate. With the college and medical fields growing there is a lack of affordable housing and the Lakeside units fit this demand for first time buyers and investors.
